Wedding To Do’s That Are Not As Bad As You Think

Are you worried about planning your wedding, and the checklist you might have to go through? Don’t worry having a wedding to-do list is not as bad as you think, I know people say otherwise, but trust me as long as you start planning ahead and not procrastinating everything will be okay. As you start creating your wedding to-do list remember to stay calm and take breaks when you need it. If you or your partner start getting overwhelmed, take a step back and check on it later. This is supposed to be a fun experience so if you are stressed take care of yourself first.

Guest List

Choosing a guest list is not as bad as you think! If you don’t want to invite kids then don’t, if you have specific people you want to invite, invite them. Invite people that have been with you all your life. This is a day of celebration for both of you, invite people who will do just that.

Choosing A Color Scheme

When it comes to picking your color scheme, find colors that you and your partner both like. This is your wedding so pick the colors you want!

Booking A Venue

When you are trying to book a venue it needs to be done early. There are many places that get overbooked and then you lose your chance. Find a venue that you like and book them early so that you have it reserved.

Catering

What will you be serving at your wedding? This can be a fun experience because you can taste test. Try out the food and make sure that it tastes good! Don’t worry about satisfying everyone, because let’s be honest, there is a very low chance that every single person at your wedding will enjoy everything that is served. People are picky eaters and that’s okay, its not your problem so don’t worry about it. Just make sure that you and your partner enjoy it!

Sending Out Invitations

When you are ready to send out wedding invitations,  I would recommend using Basic Invite to order your invitations. They have a wide selection of beautiful invitations, at a reasonable price! This will have you save money. Also, they make it very easy for you to find the perfect invitations for you so that you can be on your was. With the help of them, you are definitely taken care of in the invitation department!

Sending Out Thank You Cards

After your wedding, you and your partner will have to send out Thank You cards to all your guests. I would highly recommend handwriting them so that your guests feel your love and appreciation for them. Many of your guests might have traveled to get to your wedding, not to mention they most definitely bought you a gift. Because of their kindness in celebrating your big day, the least you can do is write them a heartfelt letter. Don’t get overwhelmed by the amount of writing you might need to do, take your time, but don’t procrastinate. This can be a fun activity that you do with your partner every night for a couple hours. You don’t have to finish them in one day, have fun and spread it out in a timely manner so you can finish writing to your guests.

Although your wedding to-do list is a little lengthy, as long as you have your partner by your side you can conquer anything. Happy Planning and Happy Wedding!
